At Anglicare, we foster Child-Safe environments where every child feels included, valued, heard, and where their strengths and diversity are celebrated. We are committed to cultural safety for all children, including respecting and valuing the unique identities and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. We work to remove barriers that may prevent children and families with diverse needs from feeling safe, welcome, or included, and we actively reduce the likelihood of harm by encouraging concerns to be raised and responding promptly to any disclosures or signs of harm. Our staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and report harm, building a culture where children feel safe to speak up.
Googong ELC is a well-established, Exceeding-rated preschool located onsite at The Anglican School Googong, offering a unique early learning environment across our Dulwa (3–4 years) and Kurrajong (4–5 years) classrooms. With a strong focus on intentional teaching, outdoor learning, and child-led play, we offer a supportive, respectful team culture within a school-based setting that values children, educators, community, and the natural environment.
