Airnorth is seeking motivated local applicants for our first ever intake ofA pprentice Aircraft Maintenance Engineers - Mechanical (B1.1) or Avionics (B2) to join our WA Engineering team based at the Perth Airport.

Activities undertaken during your apprenticeship:
* Complete training and study of aircraft maintenance and regulatory requirements to progress to an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer
* Performing aircraft maintenance including the removal and installation of aircraft components
* Supporting the issue, supply and management of tooling and equipment
* Assisting with creating and updating work orders
* Housekeeping of the hangar facility
* Maintaining a detailed apprenticeship journal
We are looking for someone who has:
* Completed Aviation studies (advantageous but not essential)
* Demonstrated commitment to safety and a compliant work environment
* A self-starter with a strong work ethic
* Good communication and interpersonal skills
* Good level of eye and hand coordination skills
* Ability to work effectively independently and as part of a team
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Pre-Employment assessment:
As part of the selection process applicants will be required to undertake the following checks:
* Aptitude Testing (Literacy & Numeracy)
* Drug & Alcohol Testing
* National Police/Criminal History Check
* Ability to hold and maintainan Aviation Security Identification Card (ASIC)
* Have full working rights in Australia
* Hold a current driver's licence
* Must have completed Year 10
