The Role
5. Buffet style bulk cooking for Breakfast, Dinner and Crib Lunch, Dessert and Pastries
6. Work collaboratively with a team of Chefs, Kitchen Utilities and Dining Room employees
7. Ensure OH&S compliance, adhering to safe work practices and food handling procedures
8. Ensure all catering controls are in place, and wastage is kept to the minimum
9. Maintain high standards of food hygiene, safety, infection control and cleanliness in accordance with Compass standards
The Person
10. Minimum Cert III in Commercial Cookery
11. Bulk Catering Experience
12. Excellent knowledge of all kitchen procedures and operations
13. Experience with hygienic work practices and appropriate HACCP guidelines
14. Able to pass Pre-Employment Medicals
15. National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
