Description
Your key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Manage day-to-day financial operations including accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations.
* Prepare accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts to support decision-making.
* Ensure compliance with relevant legislation, accounting standards, and funding requirements.
* Assist with grant acquittals, donor reporting, and audit preparation.
* Maintain financial systems, internal controls, and data integrity.
* Support leadership with financial insights and strategic planning.
* Liaise with external stakeholders including auditors, funders, and regulatory bodies.
Profile
The successful candidate will have:
* Minimum of 2 years experience within the not-for-profit space in a Finance Officer role (where you were exposed to both AR and AP)
* Experience with Excel
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
* Ability to learn quickly and be adaptive
