This role offers a unique opportunity to be involved in diverse projects across various sectors, including commercial, educational, and industrial buildings.
As a Project Cadet, you will play a crucial role in assisting our project management team with the execution and delivery of high-quality construction projects. You will have the chance to develop your skills and knowledge in project management, from planning and coordination to quality assurance and stakeholder engagement.
Responsibilities
* Support the project team in developing and maintaining project schedules and timelines.
* Assist in coordinating project activities to ensure they adhere to established deadlines.
* Help prepare project documentation, including reports, presentations, and procurement materials.
* Participate in project meetings and contribute ideas for process improvements.
* Maintain project records and assist in tracking project progress and milestones.
* Conduct research and analysis to support project decisions and problem-solving.
* Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure the timely delivery of materials.
Requirements
* Currently pursuing a degree in construction management, civil engineering, or a related field.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team and independently.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Basic understanding of construction practices and methodologies is favorable.
