Are you looking for a wonderful, full-time permanent QEHS position in Melbourne's eastern suburbs?
Our client is a Tasmanian-based SME, turning over nearly $6M in revenue annually.
This role will cover all QEHS functions regarding compliance, legal, and ethical parameters of the business. You will oversee regular QEHS functions and report into a manager. The duties to be taken over are as follows:
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure all company depots are managed with implementation of:
* Emergency management and annual evacuation drills
* First aid requirements
* Traffic management plans
* Pallet racking safety
* Workshop safety including hot work areas and PTW requirements
* Workplace inspections and any safety issues arising
* Waste stream management
* Quarantine arrangements for non-conforming products/equipment
* Develop, review and maintain SWMS in alignment with organisational operations and Australian Standards. In addition, consult with Project Managers, field staff and clients on the implementation and compliance of SWMS.
* Maintain data quality and accuracy of company compliance records including Skytrust and internal systems.
* Coordinate with the Leadership Team and Auditors in relation to the maintenance of the Integrated Management System (IMS) to meet AS/NZS AS/NZS 45001, AS/NZS 14001, and AS/NZS 9001.
* Coordinate internal and external audits in alignment with auditing timeframes, processes and the implementation of corrective actions.
* Conduct a minimum of x4 workplace/desktop inspections and audits at worksites per month
You will have
* Proven experience in QEHS procedures.
* Cert IV in WHS is desirable.
* Strong knowledge of WHS legislation and codes.
* Proven ability to foster and drive a positive safety culture.
* Current and up-to-date Australian driver's license.
* Applicants must undergo Drug & Alcohol, Medical and National Police Check assessments.
