The successful candidate will report directly to the Vice President, Additives & Polymers and work in a dynamic team environment. Key responsibilities include maintaining customer relationships, coordinating various needs, and consistently prospecting for new accounts.
Key Responsibilities:
* Maintain effective communication with customers, de-escalate problem situations, and execute order fulfillment independently.
* Plan ahead for customer orders using forecasting and regular contact with current customers and Regional Sales Manager.
* Prioritize customer relationships, coordinate activities including quoting, sampling, and problem resolution for highest customer satisfaction.
* Prospect for and develop new accounts through research, cold calling, lead management, and information sharing.
* Develop and maintain relationships with outside Regional Sales Managers to drive increased account sales and profitability.
* Contribute to the overall development of the additives and chemicals division within a team structure.
Requirements:
* At least 2 years of applicable customer service experience with demonstrated understanding of the order to cash process.
* Bachelor's degree preferred but not required.
* Strong administrative abilities, attention to detail, and excellent organizational, time management, and follow-up skills.
Work Environment:
* 50% Clerical-data entry & maintenance
* 20% Personal contact with current customers (phone/conference calls, email, in-person meetings)
* 20% Personal contact with prospects & leads (phone/conference calls)
* 10% Interdepartmental contact.
