Urban Space Maintenance Specialist
As an Urban Space Maintenance Specialist, you will play a key role in ensuring the cleanliness and attractiveness of public spaces. This includes parks, gardens, and streetscapes that make our community a great place to live.
About the Role
In this position, you'll be responsible for delivering scheduled and reactive horticultural maintenance across various public areas. This may include tasks such as planting and mulching, pruning trees and hedges, weeding and spraying, checking irrigation systems, and inspecting public spaces for safety and presentation.

About You
To be successful in this role, you'll need to possess relevant qualifications and experience in horticulture. A Certificate III in Horticulture, a current MR (Medium Rigid) licence, and Chemcert accreditation are essential.
You should have a good understanding of seasonal plant care, irrigation systems, weed and pest management, and general garden maintenance. Additionally, you'll need to be comfortable working outdoors in all seasons and have a keen eye for detail.
