We are seeking an Office Administrator (Part-time, 5 days per week, 9:00 am-3:00 pm) based in Forrestdale to assist in the smooth running of a horticultural business. The role involves handling general office duties such as administration, data entry, filing, reception, and other ad-hoc tasks as required.
Responsibilities
General administration duties
Maintain and update internal databases and records
Daily banking: Reconciling accounts, processing daily EFT and cash received
Growers: Entering invoices and processing weekly payments
Weekly customer statements: Preparing and sending statements
Stock management: Conducting stock takes and ordering chemicals, fertiliser, and production consumables
Quarantine and customs duties: Entering stock in portals for release and maintaining Excel accrual spreadsheets
Production data entry: Assisting in quarterly royalties reporting
Recruitment support: Posting job advertisements, preparing employment packs, and updating files
Maintenance research: Ordering parts as required
Ad hoc tasks
Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative or office support role
A strong work ethic, self-motivated, work independently and show initiative
Strong organisational and time management skills
A methodical approach to paperwork with the ability to prioritise and manage workflow tasks
Work well within a team, with a happy and can-do attitude
Ability to absorb new tasks quickly (accounts experience preferred but not essential)
A preference for working in a small office environment
