Electronic Warfare Network Technician - Nuclear Submariner
Help keep Australia's submarines mission-ready by operating and maintaining sophisticated surveillance systems onboard a Virginia class submarine. As an Electronic Warfare Network Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of our electronic warfare capabilities.
About the Role
This is an entry-level position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You will work closely with other technicians to troubleshoot and repair complex electronic systems.
Key Responsibilities
* Maintain and repair electronic warfare systems, including antennas, transmitters, and receivers.
* Conduct troubleshooting and fault-finding activities to identify and resolve issues with electronic systems.
* Collaborate with other technicians to design and implement new electronic systems.
* Operate and maintain specialized equipment, including oscilloscopes and signal generators.
Requirements
* Certification in electronics or a related field (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
