Job Title: Human Resources Officer - Employment Lifecycle Specialist
About the Role:
The HR Officer - Employment Lifecycle Specialist will provide support and guidance across the entire employment lifecycle, encompassing recruitment, payroll, employee relations, and other related processes. Key responsibilities include assisting with recruitment activities, overseeing probationary reviews, and providing expert advice on HR policies and procedures.
This role requires a strong understanding of HR principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with employees and managers.
The successful candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related field, along with 2 years of experience at an HR Administrator or Officer level, preferably within mining, heavy industry, or construction.
Responsibilities:
* Assist with recruitment activities, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate assessment.
* Oversee probationary review process, ensuring timely completion and effective feedback.
* Provide guidance on HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance and best practice.
* Support payroll processing activities, including data entry, calculations, and reconciliations.
* Manage processes related to role changes, system updates, and other employment-related matters.
Requirements:
* Tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (desired).
* 2 years of experience at HR Administrator or Officer level, ideally within mining, heavy industry, or construction.
* Strong knowledge of HR principles and practices, including recruitment, payroll, and employee relations.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to negotiate, influence, and achieve stakeholder buy-in.
* Ability to work collaboratively with employees and managers, ensuring effective communication and issue resolution.
