Minarah College is an independent Islamic co‐educational school catering to students from Kindergarten to Year 12. Minarah College was established in January 2002 by the Muslim League of NSW Inc. The school is located 7 kilometres from Liverpool amongst Sydney's South Western Suburbs. The Role: Special and Inclusive Education Administration Officer

The Special Needs Administration Officer provides administrative, organisational, and operational support to ensure high‐quality services for individuals with additional learning, behavioural, medical, or developmental needs. This role supports program coordination, maintains accurate records, liaises with families and external agencies, and assists staff in delivering inclusive and compliant services.

Key Responsibilities

Administrative Support

* Maintain accurate student records, including medical information, support plans, and progress documentation.
* Prepare reports, correspondence, and documentation required for internal stakeholders.
* Manage schedules, appointments, meetings, and communication for special needs programmes.
* Assist with enrolment processes, funding applications, and compliance documentation.

Program Coordination

* Support the coordination of special needs programmes, therapies, and interventions.
* Track and monitor service delivery, attendance, and resource allocation.
* Assist in organising professional development, training sessions, and support staff rosters.
* Communicate sensitively and professionally with parents regarding student needs and support processes.
* Collaborate with teachers, support workers, and leadership teams to ensure consistent and effective service delivery.

Data & Compliance

* Ensure all documentation meets organisational, legal, and regulatory requirements.
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to privacy standards.
* Support audits, reviews, and reporting for compliance with disability and inclusion frameworks.

Resource Management

* Assist in managing specialised equipment, learning resources, and accessibility tools.
* Coordinate procurement, maintenance, and inventory of special needs materials.

Consistent with the mission of Minarah College the position will:

* Develop and maintain effective professional relationships with all staff to meet the individualised needs of our diverse learners.
* Liaise with medical and educational professionals for assessments, diagnoses and the implementation of support programmes.
* Facilitate meetings with stakeholders and administrate these plans such as Individual Education Plans.
* Implement and monitor appropriate support programmes for students together with the Inclusive Education Team.
* Record and maintain up to date and accurate records of student progress.

Skills & Qualifications

* Strong administrative and organisational skills.
* Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
* High level of empathy, patience, and professionalism when working with families and individuals with diverse needs.
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
* Proficiency with office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, data management systems).
* Experience in education, disability services, community services, or a related field.
* Experience working with multidisciplinary teams (therapists, educators, support workers).
