Position Description
Sync Lift Engineering currently have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Field Services Superintendent.
We are looking for a motivated individual to fill this ongoing, diverse role commencing ASAP. We have a diverse range of clients on various sites across the Bowen Basin that for whom we plan, schedule & execute maintenance work. This is a permanent position with an ongoing Monday to Friday roster.
In these roles you will be responsible for:
* Developing and overseeing maintenance schedules and estimates, including down days, planned maintenance, and shutdowns.
* Ensuring effective resource allocation, including labour, equipment, and materials, to meet maintenance schedules.
* Working closely with site supervisors and technical teams to optimise maintenance workflows and reduce downtime.
* Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients across the Bowen Basin to understand their field maintenance needs.
* Working with the recruitment team to oversee the recruitment, onboarding, and management of field maintenance personnel.
To be considered for these roles you must have:
* Trade or engineering qualification in mechanical, electrical, or related disciplines.
* Proven experience in a maintenance leadership role within the mining, resources, or heavy industry sectors.
* Strong knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and execution.
* Experience managing maintenance teams in a multi-site environment
* Strong understanding of WHS and compliance regulations in QLD mining operations.
* Proficiency in maintenance management systems and reporting tools.
* Ability to travel frequently to sites across the Bowen Basin.

* Relevant Tertiary Qualification
* Current Standard 11
* Current Coal Board Medical
Successful candidates must be able to meet all site entry requirements including drug and alcohol testing and a pre-employment medical.
