**Duties**
- Cleans rooms, hallways and restrooms
- Cleans and maintains restaurants and banquethalls
- Sweeps carpets
- Empties ashtrays and urns
- Polishes furniture and fixtures
- Vacuums and polishes elevators
- Keeps the front of the hotelfree from trash
- Cleans rugs, carpets and upholstered furniture using a vacuum cleaner, broom and shampoo machine
- Sweeps, mops, scrubs, waxes, and polishes floors
- Dustand polishes metal work
- Collects solid linen supplies in floor linen closets
- Maintains housekeepingcarts
- Removes trash collected by room attendants
- To perform daily assigned tasks in toilets, lifts, back areas, terrace, etc.
- To report maintenance to supervisor/ housekeeping desk immediately
- To comply with Lost and FoundPolicy of the Hotel
- Responsible to maintain inventoryin the Housekeeping closets
**Responsibilities**
- Ensure all the instruction from supervisors and managers are respected and followed
- Log and inform the managers of any system errors or defective equipment (eg: Faulty vacuum)
- Follow all YHG grooming, performance standards, workplace health and safety, emergency procedures and all other property policies and procedures
- Report any health or safety, incidents and injuries to your Managers/Supervisor. This Include unsafe working environments, equipment, machinery faults or damage
- Follow departmental fire and evacuation procedures
Qualifications, Skills and Experience
**Prior Experience**
- Work experience as a public or common areas in a hotel (No experience can be trained)

**Job Type**: Part-time
Part-time hours: 10 per week
**Salary**: $22.77 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Essendon, VIC: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
