Job Title
As a Financial Analyst, you will play a key role in supporting the Programs Department in reporting and monitoring the financial performance of current and anticipated projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Collating financial information, analysing variances, and providing commentary in collaboration with Project Managers.
* Supporting Project Managers in relation to project finance to ensure a consistent understanding and application across all projects.
* Developing efficiencies in collating and reporting project financial information via existing ERP software and developing tools and models as required.
* Assisting the Project Managers in the development – and ongoing management/reporting of – risk management plans and associated risk registers.
* Assisting in the preparation and maintenance of finance processes under the Project Management Office Project Management Methodology.
Key Skills:
* Strong stakeholder management skills coupled with the ability to communicate and articulate financial information with senior stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills, approaching all tasks with a continuous improvement mindset.
* Meticulous attention to detail, particularly when analysing and interpreting data.
* Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and plan and prioritise competing workloads to meet deadlines.
* Strong computer skills across the MS Office suite, particularly Excel; knowledge of Pronto or equivalent reporting systems an advantage.
* A tertiary degree or equivalent experience in Finance or Accounting, with the ability to present financial information to diverse (non-technical) audiences.
