Leisure Centre Trainee – Geographe Leisure Centre
* Full Time 1 Year Fixed Term Contract
* $45,207 - $53,698 + super (salary dependant on age)

Are you passionate about fitness, swimming, and helping people live their best lives? Ready to dive into an exciting career in leisure services? The City of Busselton is looking for an enthusiastic Leisure Centre Trainee to join our team at the Geographe Leisure Centre for a 12-month traineeship.
This is your chance to earn while you learn and gain nationally recognised qualifications, including:
* Certificate III in Sport and Recreation (Aquatics)
* First Aid Certificate
* Pool Lifeguard Training
* Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety / Swim Australia Teacher Training

What you'll be doing:
Under the guidance of our experienced Aquatics and Swim School Team Leaders, you'll:
* Learn the ropes of lifeguarding, swim teaching, and aquatic safety.
* Assist with pool supervision, water testing, and plant operations.
* Deliver awesome customer service to our members and swim school families.
* Help plan and run leisure programs and events.
* Keep our aquatic areas sparkling clean and safe.
* Complete on-the-job training and study to achieve your qualifications.
What you'll bring to the role:
* A genuine interest in sport and recreation.
* Great communication skills and a positive attitude.
* Commitment to training and study.
* Ability to work flexible hours Monday to Friday.
* Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office).
* A team player who loves helping people.
Pre-employment requirements:
* National Police Clearance (within 6 months).
* Current C Class Drivers Licence.
* Proof of right to work in Australia.
* Working with Children Check
* Ability to meet pre-employment medical requirements
