CDC Northern Territory is based out of Berrimah, and we support all operations across Northern Territory. From Darwin to Tennant Creek and Alice Springs our geographically spread team keeps us busy and engaged.
About the role
As a HSEQ advisor at CDC Northern Territory, you will play a key role in supporting the organisation throughout the NT. This role reports to the NT General Manager with a dotted line to the HSEQ General Manager based in QLD. Working closely with all levels of the organisation you will be comfortable getting out in the depot or into a bus.
Our key focus will be ensuring the right fit for this role supports our team and has an outcome oriented focus.

* Experience interpreting, advising and applying WHS legislation
* Working knowledge of WHS and industry best practices, and Work Health & Safety
* Experience in the writing/development of risk assessments
* Experience with facilitating WHS audits & inspections
* Ability to monitor and review health & safety documentation, practices for compliance with both policies/procedures/guidelines and statutory requirements
* Demonstrated ability to influence and implement change.
* Skilled to investigate, research and analyse information to create policy and/or procedures.
* A cert IV in OH&S or higher in Work Health and Safety
* HLTPAT005 – Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing

* TLIF0005 – Apply a fatigue risk management system
-Desirable but we will train you for this
* ICAM or equivalent Incident Management Training Qualification
-Desirable but we will train you in this
* Working knowledge of Heavy Vehicle National Law and Regulations
