Job Title: Technical Officer, Clinical Learning Environments
Monash University is seeking a highly skilled and organized individual to fill the role of Technical Officer in its Clinical Learning Environments. This position plays a critical role in supporting teaching and learning across nursing and midwifery clinical environments.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and maintain simulated learning spaces for teaching activities that enhance clinical skill development.
* Work closely with the Clinical Learning Environment Coordinator to ensure seamless delivery of sessions by preparing equipment, maintaining facilities, and providing hands-on assistance to staff and students.
* Provide technical and operational support to ensure efficient functioning of simulation laboratories, including setting up and calibrating equipment and preparing materials to meet required standards.
* Support Clinical Learning Environment activities and complete pack-down and cleaning to ensure spaces are ready for future sessions.
* Oversee supplies, maintain a safe and organized workspace, and contribute to data collection and routine analysis.
* Attend meetings, training, and activities across Victorian campuses as required to support consistent practice and high-quality learning experiences.
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will possess a diploma level qualification or equivalent experience supported by strong analytical and technical skills. Sound organizational capability and the ability to complete high-volume tasks with accuracy while applying effective technical methods and processes are essential.
