This challenging role involves working with our Intensive Bail Initiative Team to provide wrap-around services for families of young people involved with the youth justice system.
You'll be part of a collaborative service that supports families to thrive, leveraging effective working partnerships and peer support to drive positive outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Developing and implementing high-quality program planning
* Coaching and training colleagues to enhance their skills and competency
* Fostering operational relationships with stakeholders to ensure program success
* Managing staff caseloads, program logistics, risk management, and child protection
* Maintaining a caseload of clients
Requirements:
* A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or significant experience in a similar service
* Demonstrated understanding and experience working with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities and families
* Strong knowledge of the Youth Justice system, orders, and bail obligations
* Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to coach and develop teams, as well as work collaboratively
* Ability to apply trauma-informed approaches and guide practitioners in safe and ethical practice
* Experience in advocating for service users and engaging with networks
