Permanent Full Time Position, 76 hour 9-day Fortnight – Mildura, VIC. We are looking for a Radiation Therapist to join our team at the Icon Mildura Cancer Centre. The primary purpose of this role will be to provide high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist. This role reports to the Radiation Therapy Manager and operates on a 9-day fortnight.

About the Role
Provide high quality radiation therapy planning and treatment as prescribed by the Radiation Oncologist, ensuring safety and quality standards are met.
Key responsibilities include delivering patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services, maintaining high standards of patient care, liaising with the multidisciplinary team to meet patient needs promptly, and upholding a patient-focused, respectful, and equitable approach. Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care through collaboration.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide high-quality, safe, patient-centred clinical radiation therapy planning and treatment delivery services that comply with safety and quality standards
* Maintain high standards of patient care and continually enhance the quality of service and patient experience
* Liaise with multidisciplinary team to ensure patient needs are met in a timely manner
* Exhibit strong patient focus and treat all patients and carers with respect, dignity, and equality
* Support a high-performance culture that delivers quality patient care through patient-centric and collaborative approaches
About You, Skills & Experience
We are looking for someone who is highly enthusiastic, motivated and quick to adapt in a supportive environment. Required: demonstrated proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery; ability to adhere to clinical protocols; understanding of the service delivery model within private healthcare; ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team; current AHPRA radiation therapist registration with Victorian Radiation Use Licence; adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA.
* Proven technical proficiency in radiation therapy treatment planning and delivery
* Ability to adhere to clinical protocols and procedures
* Understanding of the service delivery model within the private healthcare sector
* Capacity to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Current AHPRA registration with Victorian Radiation Use Licence
* Adequate professional indemnity insurance as required by AHPRA
