Key Responsibilities
1. Oversee and manage freight, warehouse workers, linehaul allocations & drivers to ensure effective, efficient, and accurate warehouse and linehaul operations.
2. Supervise operation and frontline linehaul operations, ensuring freight is sorted and distributed within designated timeslots.
3. Optimise the usage of company and subcontractor equipment/resources cost-effectively.
4. Oversee dispatching, routing, and tracking of freight.
5. Manage vehicles entering and departing the depot, ensuring compliance with standards and legal requirements.
6. Ensure all vehicles are loaded and unloaded safely and in accordance with policies.
7. Manage line-haul vehicles to meet scheduled timelines.
8. Oversee speed compliance of Linehaul drivers.
9. Coordinate freight movement for systematic and consistent sortation.
10. Manage inbound/outbound vehicles to adhere to scheduling.
11. Proactively manage company vehicles and forklifts for cost efficiency and optimal use of warehouse capabilities.
