The Opportunity
We are seeking a seasoned technology executive to fill the position of General Manager, Data & AI Services. This senior leadership role will be instrumental in shaping the future of Australia Post by driving strategic direction, implementation, and management of data and artificial intelligence initiatives across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and execute a comprehensive data and AI strategy that aligns with Australia Post's business objectives and growth ambitions.
* Provide strategic guidance to the Board and executive/senior leadership team, ensuring alignment with the organisation's vision and goals.
* Oversee the design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning models to enhance operational efficiency and customer experience.
* Ensure data integrity, security, and stewardship while promoting a culture of data-driven decision-making.
* Identify and capitalise on strategic data and AI opportunities to drive significant business value.
About You
You are a domain expert in the Data & AI segment with a strong network of industry partners and organisations. Your ability to influence from Board/ EGM and SLT forums, as well as your passion for innovation, will make you an excellent fit for this role.
Requirements
* Strong commercial acumen and demonstrated strategic partner experience at scale.
* A passion for innovation, with tangible experience building Gen AI enterprise strategy.
* Demonstrated ability to translate data and AI insights into actionable business strategies and outcomes.
* Ability to run a large P&L, taking accountability for investments and decision making.
