This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced production environment and takes pride in maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This environment does have exposure to a dusty and chemicals onsite.
Shifts available:
Day Shift - $33.88 per hour - 6.00am - 2.30pm
Afternoon Shift - $38.96 per hour - 2.30pm - 11.00pm
Night Shift- $44.04 per hour plus super – 10:00pm – 6.30am (Night shift will train on afternoon shift for 6-8 weeks)
Key Responsibilities
* Operating and monitoring production machinery
* Pick and packing of finished goods
* Manual handling of materials and products
* General factory housekeeping and cleaning duties
* Conducting basic quality checks and reporting issues
* Following safe work procedures and site policies
* Weight/Measure and load raw materials into mixing equipment as per work order.
* Batching and mixing raw materials in accordance with production schedules and formulas
* Operating and monitoring mixing and batching equipment
* Handling and measuring chemicals in line with safety procedures and SDS requirements
* General cleaning and housekeeping of production and mixing areas
* Completing basic quality checks and production documentation
* Adhering to WHS, environmental, and site safety procedures at all times
* Supporting other areas of the factory as required
* Operate and monitor mixing equipment to ensure batch consistency and quality
* Conduct product change over as per quality requirements.
* Ensure the mixers are maintained clean.
* Conduct quality checks to verify product specifications
* Maintain housekeeping of the mixing department
* Record accurate batch information and production data
* Ensure safety regulations and procedures are maintained to prevent any accident.
* Supporting other areas of the factory as required
* Forklift Operation - LF/LO
About You
* Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment (preferred but not essential)
* Physically fit and capable of manual handling tasks
* Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
* Able to work as part of a team and follow instructions
* Willing to be trained across multiple tasks and areas
* Forklift licence - LF/LO
