About The Program

The Homes First Program is a comprehensive, long‐term initiative designed to support individuals experiencing homelessness to secure sustainable housing and rebuild their overall wellbeing. Grounded in Housing First principles, the program provides intensive, wrap‐around, multi‐disciplinary support over a three‐year period, followed by a further year of intermittent assistance.

The Program Aims To

* Establish stable, long‐term housing
* Strengthen physical, mental, and emotional health
* Promote social inclusion and community connection

The Homes First Team Includes

* Homes First Team Manager
* Homes First Case Managers
* Homes First Aboriginal Case Managers
* Dual Diagnosis Clinicians
* Peer Support Workers

Together, this team delivers integrated, person‐centred support to individuals with diverse and complex needs.

About The Role

The Homes First Dual Diagnosis Clinician plays a key role in supporting individuals experiencing co‐occurring mental health and substance use concerns. You will provide comprehensive and intensive clinical support that is accessible, responsive, and aligned with Housing First principles. This approach ensures clients experience "one right door", reducing barriers to engagement and eliminating the need for referrals to multiple services.

This role is a fixed term part time 0.6 (FTE) contract till 30 June 2029.

Key Responsibilities

Working Collaboratively Within The Homes First Team, You Will

* Proactively engage individuals and families with a range of complex needs
* Provide integrated support for co‐occurring mental health and AOD presentations, completing detailed assessments and formulations to inform develop therapeutic care plans
* Provide evidence‐based, structured, and comprehensive counselling and therapeutic support
* Contribute therapeutic insight to multidisciplinary care planning
* Strengthen client wellbeing, recovery, and capacity to sustain housing
* Foster a safe, trauma‐informed service environment, effectively managing client safety and risk

This position is embedded within Junction's Therapeutic and Allied Health Services, where you will receive clinical supervision, reflective practice, and ongoing professional support in line with Junction's Supervision Framework.

About You

You are a skilled and compassionate clinician who:

* Has experience working with dual diagnosis presentations
* Is confident engaging people with complex and often entrenched challenges
* Applies evidence‐based, trauma‐informed approaches
* Values collaboration, flexibility, and client‐led practice
* Is motivated to support long‐term recovery and housing stability
