About the Role
* Maintaining and monitoring business infrastructure and systems is crucial to our success.
* We require a skilled individual to service requests, manage incidents, and ensure prompt incident response times.
The ideal candidate will have experience designing, implementing, and administering infrastructure platform solutions using VMware vSphere. Additionally, they should possess an understanding of IT Service Management concepts, designing, implementing, and administering storage solutions using SAN technologies, and working with complex networking solutions on physical and/or virtualised platforms.
The role also requires the ability to apply ITIL v3 Foundation concepts within the workplace. Responsibilities include planning, design, configuration, maintenance, and support of server infrastructure, managing a Microsoft exchange server, setting up user accounts and mailboxes along with backup, security, and restoring files, performing routine server maintenance, Windows Server Administration and DNS, Print Management, Server Builds/Management, Storage Management, identifying and diagnosing errors, resolving these logically in a short time frame, resolving complex hardware and software tools, and MS Server security management and operations.
Key Skills and Qualifications
* Proficient in VMware vSphere
* Familiarity with IT Service Management concepts
* Understanding of storage solutions using SAN technologies
* Ability to work with complex networking solutions
* ITIL v3 Foundation certification
* Experience with Windows Server Administration and DNS
* Knowledge of Print Management and Server Builds/Management
* Skills in identifying and diagnosing errors
* Able to resolve complex hardware and software tools
* MS Server security management and operations expertise
