**About the opportunity**
The **Accounts Payable officer**position reports to the Shared Services Manager and is part of the wider Finance team. The focus of this role is to accurately process supplier and sub-contractor invoices. More specifically you will be responsible for:
- Entering of supplier and subcontractor invoices into the system accurately and efficiently
- Distribution and review of sign off reports
- Checking that the invoice has been properly authorised in accordance with delegated authorities, checking coding and GST treatment
- Batching the invoices for payment
- Develop strong working relationships with internal staff and external suppliers to resolve any issues
**About you**

- Previous experience in word processing and data entry is highly regarded
- High level of attention to detail
- Ability to clearly communicate and collaborate with others
- Strong problem solving and time management skills
- Strong work ethic and positive work attitude
- A good understanding of MS Office suites
