As the Stores Coordinator, you'll play a key role in supporting the management of the stores team, ensuring safety and compliance, and optimising inventory activities. You'll work closely with our procurement team, to deliver materials to and from the site in a timely and effective manner, minimising any adverse impact on site production, maintenance and capital activities!
This permanent position will be based at Pioneer Mill in North Queensland's Burdekin region, known for its stunning landscapes, rich agricultural heritage, and a vibrant community. The Burdekin region offers a fantastic lifestyle with a warm climate, beautiful beaches and a range of recreational activities, making it a great place to live and work.
Your Role in Action
* Team Management: Manage a small team effectively to achieve business goals, particularly around safety, quality and customer service. Contributing to the recruitment, development and performance of the stores teams.
* Inventory Pro: Coordinate and perform data processing of the stores team, efficiently maintaining a high level of inventory accuracy.
* Support Key Systems and Processes: Develop and maintain systems to enhance efficiency in stocktake, logistics, and order management.
* Problem Solving: Highlight and report issues that may arise with site operations adversely impacting stores performance, providing hands-on support when and where it's needed.
Your Winning Combination
The ideal candidate will have a background in SAP, with at least 4 years' previous experience in warehousing, be self-motivated and have the ability to work autonomously. You'll bring solid skills in inventory management, high attention to detail and accuracy as well as strong verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. Advanced proficiency in MS Office for efficient handling of data and reporting will be highly regarded.
