About the Role
We're looking for a hands-on software engineer to design and evolve software that powers our electric hydrofoils.
You'll work across mobile apps and cloud systems, delivering seamless user experiences and scalable infrastructure.
The ideal candidate will have experience with app development, AWS services, and embedded environments. You'll collaborate with a team to build cutting-edge technology that integrates hardware, software, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, review, test, and evolve Fliteboard software.
Lead development of cross-platform mobile apps (iOS & Android).
Build and scale backend systems on AWS (Lambda, CDK, Postgres, React).
Engage in testing with hardware-integrated features.
Participate in code reviews and collaborative workflows.
Mandatory Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent industry experience (5–10+ years).
Proven app development experience with Flutter/Swift/Kotlin.
Experience with AWS (Lambda, Postgres, CDK, React).
Solid grasp of Bluetooth LE, unit testing, and config management.
C# for internal test tools.
Embedded environments (Nordic nRF528xx, STM32).
Experience in marine electronics, sports tech, or watercraft.
