The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious Senior Commercial Finance Analyst wanting to take the next step in their career or a Finance Business Partner wanting to expand their skills and gain exposure in a commercially focused role. The Challenge
Work with the senior commercial executives across the business unit to ensure the business receives commercial decision‑support services that enable superior strategic decisions. The position will also support the senior leadership team with strategic support for growth, new product and investment initiatives.
* Play a key role in driving profitability for the business unit, producing high quality commercial analysis to guide decision making.
* Work with cross‑functional teams to ensure that business plans and forecasts are understood, owned, and reflect current strategies.
* Evaluate market trends and competitive landscapes to inform strategic decision making.
* Be intimately involved in the Sales & Operations Planning process, driving improvements and building and owning the S&OP financial model.
* Prepare business cases and perform financial modelling for growth initiatives and investments.
* Produce P&L reporting and work with the ELT and Heads of departments to lead and influence integrated and cross‑functional monthly decision‑making forums.
* Provide leadership support, direction and technical expertise to stakeholders in all aspects of commercial management and offer insights and recommendations for ongoing improvements.
* Work closely with the broader finance community to lead the development of best‑practice processes and standardised ways of working.
* Co‑ordinate, manage, deliver, and present the business plan including strategic initiative overlays.
The Expertise
Please consider expressing interest in this position if you possess the following:
* CPA/CA Qualification
* Several years' experience in a relevant commercial finance position, ideally working with operational stakeholders in a manufacturing environment.
* Intermediate Excel skills and the ability to proactively develop financial models to guide business decisions.
* Strong communication and personable skills, with the ability to build trust and influence key stakeholdersli>
