At Anglicare, we foster childsafe environments where every child feels included, valued, heard, and where their strengths and diversity are celebrated. We are committed to cultural safety for all children, including respecting and valuing the unique identities and experiences of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children. We work to remove barriers that may prevent children and families with diverse needs from feeling safe, welcome, or included, and we actively reduce the likelihood of harm by encouraging concerns to be raised and responding promptly to any disclosures or signs of harm. Our staff are equipped with the knowledge and skills to identify, prevent, and report harm, building a culture where children feel safe to speak up.
