* 9‑month fixed‑term opportunity to deliver high‑quality and effective Data Analytics to support Internal Audit.
Responsibilities
* Define the data analytics approach to execute against the hypothesis as defined by the Auditors.
* Sourcing relevant datasets, undertaking data preparation and transformation activities and executing analysis.
* Responsible for technical and logical QA review of own work, and where nominated, as peer reviewer.
* Interpret results in the context of the business and audit objectives.
* Communicate testing approach and results effectively to technical and non‑technical audiences.
* Deliver within agreed timelines, monitor and manage own activities, and escalate as required in a timely manner.
* Coach auditor peers in data analytics activity.
Qualifications
* Strong experience in a Data Analytics team in Audit, Risk, or Assurance functions.
* Possess numeracy/data and analytical skills for evaluating outcomes to identify key issues, trends, and themes from large volumes of complex information.
* Advanced SQL, Python and data visualisation experience (Power BI preferred).
* Degree or relevant experience in computer science, data science or a numerate area.
* Experience with cloud computing environments (Databricks preferred).
