Senior Associate, Stakeholder Engagement (Screen NSW)

- Join Screen NSW within the Department of Creative Industries, Tourism, Hospitality and Sport
- Clerk Grade 9/10 with a salary range of $129,464 - $142,665 per annum plus superannuation and leave loading
- Ongoing role based in Sydney, NSW

We are seeking a Senior Associate, Stakeholder Engagement to drive industry collaboration, deliver Screen NSW’s engagement plan and help deliver the 3 year Screen and Digital Games Strategy, a key initiative supporting growth, innovation and investment in NSW’s creative industries.

About you

As the Senior Associate, Stakeholder Engagement, you’ll be at the intersection of government, industry, and community, working with passionate creatives, senior decision makers, and policy experts to bring exciting programs and initiatives to life.

You will play a key role in driving industry engagement to deliver the Screen NSW’s engagement program as well as support the delivery of the Screen and Digital Games Strategy and related plans. You will build and manage strong relationships across government, industry, and community, demonstrating respect for diverse cultures, protocols, and perspectives. Your role will involve designing, delivering and evaluating engagement activities and recommending improvements to maximise impact, while collaborating on the creation of content, communications, and events that excite stakeholders and strengthen Screen NSW’s brand.

In addition, you will support funding initiatives by ensuring compliance with policy and risk management frameworks and conduct research and analysis to map stakeholder interests and provide valuable insights to inform strategic planning.

To be successful in the role, you will have:

- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, communications or industry relations
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and manage complex relationships with diplomacy and confidence
- Strong analytical and organisational skills, including experience using data and research to inform strategies

Key knowledge and experience:

- Demonstrated sound knowledge of and experience in the screen sector; any additional experience in the digital games sector will be highly regarded.
- Experience and expertise leading engagement programs with a range of stakeholder groups across industry, government and the community sector.
- Experience using and maintaining systems and databases and analysing and providing insights to inform planning and strategies.
- Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience
