Barefoot Therapists is a leading multi-disciplinary paediatric practice located on the scenic Mornington Peninsula. We offer services from infancy through adolescence into adulthood at our Barefoot Child & Family Centre in Rosebud and Gadara Farm in Boneo. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality, engaging therapy in both indoor and outdoor settings, supported by a strong clinical leadership team.
About you:
You are a Speech Pathologist new to your career wishing to join an experienced multidisciplinary team. You are passionate about paediatrics, family centered services and eager to work as part of a large team. Our therapists work primarily with neurodiverse children and their families.
Responsibilities:
- Provide evidence-based 1:1 intervention incorporating client's interests.
- Develop and review client goals in conjunction with clients and their families.
- Conduct assessments and provide feedback to families.
- Write professional reports outlining assessment results and therapy progress.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and healthcare professionals.
- Support families with NDIS navigation and connect them with local services.
- Optional: provide group programs in conjunction with another therapist.
Requirements:
- Registration with Speech Pathology Australia.
- Valid driver’s license and own car.
- NDIS worker screening and Working with Children checks.
- Commitment to high standards of practice and professional development.
