The Finance Management at the Mackay Base Hospital is seeking applications for a Finance Officer to join their team on a permanent basis.

Your opportunity
The role of the Finance Officer is to assist the Manager Financial Accounting in delivering effective and professional Financial Accounting Services within the Finance Team of MHHS.
The role is responsible for supporting the MFA to provide of Financial Accounting Services which ensure the integrity of the Health Service's financial accounts and system of internal financial controls.
The role will assist the delivery of statutory financial reports that comply with relevant legislation and Accounting Standards, in line the system of internal financial controls and financial compliance.

The Financial Accounting Team is part of the Finance Team that provides financial leadership, strategic financial policy, and governance to enable the MHHS to deliver safe, high quality and efficient services to the community.
