About the Role
As a Personal Care Worker, you'll support clients across the Northern Rivers by delivering personalised, person-centred care. You'll travel between client homes and assist with day-to-day tasks that promote independence, wellbeing and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities
* Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming and medication prompts
* Domestic assistance such as light cleaning, laundry and meal prep
* Social support and transport to outings, shopping and appointments
* Assisting with mobility and equipment (e.g., walking frames, wheelchairs, hoists/lifters, sliding sheets, hearing aids)
* Monitoring and reporting changes in client wellbeing
* Attending team meetings and participating in ongoing training
What You Need
* Certificate III in Aged Care, Disability or Individual Support.
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Valid work rights in Australia
* Reliable, registered and comprehensively insured vehicle
* Smartphone with internet access
