Project Management Specialist
We are seeking a skilled project management specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a vital role in planning and executing projects worldwide.
The primary objective of this position is to oversee and coordinate project activities to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the desired quality standards.
* Job Description:
* This role involves monitoring progress, preparing procedures, documenting communications and meetings, and identifying/evaluating project issues and problems.
* You will be responsible for coordinating and managing the efforts of technical disciplines, vendors, and licensors to ensure integrated and completed designs that meet project requirements and contractual obligations.
* This position also requires supporting the creation and coordination of overall project plans and schedules, as well as monitoring activities, progress, and milestones against these plans.
* You will be involved in supporting the creation and coordination of project effort hours, cost estimates, and budgets, and monitoring progress and cost performance against these.
* This role also involves coordinating the preparation, delivery, and coordination of project deliverables, design documents, and bid packages.
* Required Skills and Qualifications:
* To be successful in this role, you must have an accredited four-year degree or global equivalent in an engineering field of study and seven years of work-related experience.
* A recognized professional certification or registration in the applicable field is also required, if necessary, along with some locations having additional or different qualifications to comply with local requirements.
* You must be able to communicate effectively with audiences including but not limited to management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.
* Additionally, you should possess job-related technical knowledge necessary to complete the job.
* You will also be required to learn and apply knowledge of applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.
* Maintenance of attention to detail and working in a time-conscious and time-effective manner are also essential skills for this role.
