The Role
The Senior Insights Analyst is an exciting role within our RFI Global Council Insights team, focused on serving our financial services clients in Australia and New Zealand. In this role you will further your experience in analysing primary voice of customer data, secondary macro data, and business/client priorities.
This is a fast-paced role which will drive you to be an expert in financial services insights with dedication to creating actionable outputs to support client decision making. At RFI we are client centric and continually evolving insights, research and products to be ahead of the market and meet client needs. You will support client presentations and be the insights subject matter expert.
The role is critical in unlocking emerging trends, themes and producing impactful deliverables. Importantly, you will see the impact of your work on some of the largest financial services brands in Australia and New Zealand.
Location - Sydney/ Melbourne
Key Responsibilities
* Supporting regular client presentations and research brief sessions.
* Influence the design of research briefs and analysis approach.
* Utilising insights and data to story-tell and drive action by our clients. Ensuring client’s needs and priorities are addressed by research deliverables.
* Conducting analysis of quantitative market research data with a high level of accuracy, attention to detail and efficiency.
* Creating client ready research and insight led PowerPoint presentations.
* Utilise research and data tools, including AI.
* Analysis of secondary data (economic, financial etc) to triangulate and contextualise RFI’s primary research.
* Cross-functional collaboration with team members, including sales, client services, operations and research teams in our London, Singapore, Sydney and Melbourne offices.
Requirements
* At least 2 years of experience in a market research agency, consultancy or similar roles.
* A degree in any discipline.
* Client focussed and confident presenting deliverables to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Experience conducting analysis using Microsoft Excel or statistical analysis software such as Q, SPSS or others is highly valued.
* Excellent written communication skills.
* Banking/Financial Services experience is highly valued but not essential.
* Demonstrates a curious mindset by asking insightful questions and thinking proactively.
* An ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, to foster a positive team environment and drive collective results.
