The team
The RegistryConnect program is focused on the stabilisation and targeted uplift of business registers including designing connections to the ABN and Director ID registers held by the ATO, and the more than 30 registers held by ASIC.
The role
We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to be responsible for co-ordinating the product development and delivery of registry and regulatory outcomes.
Responsibilities Will Include
* Work with Product Management to build and maintain the Product Backlog and document business/functional requirements.
* Collaborate with delivery teams to refine requirements and develop solutions.
* Ensure changes and enhancements align with One ASIC design principles.
* Partner with Product Managers, SMEs, and Product Leads to understand ASIC business processes and operational needs.
* Work with Delivery Teams to define acceptance criteria for One ASIC Platform solutions.
* Coordinate UAT/PVT with Product Managers, including preparation, execution, and support for business testers.
* Manage enhancements and project‐driven technical changes to address business needs.
About You Qualifications & Experience
* Relevant bachelor's degree and/or experience gathering, documenting, and analysing business requirements
* High‐level understanding of ASIC's regulatory role and operational processes, with ability to acquire detailed knowledge
* Experience engaging business users to understand requirements and identify process improvements
* Ability to analyse business needs, solve complex issues, and document solutions
* Experience building and maintaining strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders
* Strong verbal and written communication skills
* Previous Business Analyst experience (beneficial)
