NES Fircroft is partnering with a global resources client who is looking for an AUTONOMOUS FLEET CONTROLLER to join their team. This is initially a 5-6 month contract.
The Role:
Reporting to the Operations Superintendent, you will be a member of the RSATe (Right Size Autonomous Truck) Project team based on site. You will be required to use Wenco FMS and Scania Autonomous products to complete material movement in accordance with the Mine Plan.
Roster: 8:6 FIFO Perth
Duties will include:
Operate the mine’s fleet management system and correctly and efficiently dispatch mining equipment.
Work closely with the system development team to balance development needs with the material movement shift plan.
Monitor machine health and coordinate maintenance and system operations.
Coordinate machinery, equipment, and personnel to achieve targets and serve as the central communication point.
The Requirements:
Previous experience with surface mining operations and fleet controlling.
Experience working in a mine control room environment.
FMS application experience with Wenco, Komatsu Modular/Frontrunner, Caterpillar Minestar (desirable).
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
