All Energy Contracting has an exciting new opportunity for multiple experienced earthmoving plant operators. We have solar farm projects across multiple sites such as Girgarre and Wunghnu in VIC, Walla Walla and Wellington North in NSW, Goyder Wind Farm in SA, Wambo Wind Farm in QLD. We are a growing fast paced company with plenty of work around Australia in the pipeline. We seek to fill this role with candidates who have the knowledge and experience on renewable energy farms, in exchange we offer a competitive rate of pay and a supportive working environment. Duties:
* Operating a range of earthmoving heavy plant machinery in a safe and effective manner on the farm, e.g., Excavator, Dozer, Moxy, Loader, Compactor, Roller, Laser Bucket, Dump Trucks, etc.
* Preparation, positioning, general care, maintenance and troubleshoot on machinery and equipment as needed.
* Monitor equipment to ensure proper operation and identify any issues or defects.
* Excavate, load, transport soil, gravel and other materials to compact and/or cover waste in accordance with company/contractual. requirements and applicable regulations.
* Operate vehicles and equipment in accordance with training, instructions or operating procedures and company regulations.
* Complying with all WHS safety practices and procedures.
* Demonstrating commitment to environmental policies and procedures.
* Maintain a professional image, cleanliness and organisation of work area.
* Complete required paperwork such as maintenance logs.
* Continuously learn and develop skills necessary to operate machinery and equipment in the plant.
Qualifications and Experience:
* Solar/pipeline/trenching experience
* You have demonstrated experience and knowledge in operating and maintaining a range of earthmoving heavy plant machinery and equipment in an industrial plant.
* Strong mechanical and technical skills.
* Ability to troubleshoot and perform maintenance on machinery and equipment.
* Ability to follow instructions and adhere to safety procedures and guidelines.
* Willingness to work away on different project sites Australia wide.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, interpersonal skills and attention to detail.
* You value safety whilst meeting targets and delivering results.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as a willing and active team member.
