We’re growing in Gympie, bringing together a passionate team in Children, Youth and Family Services who provide care, guidance, and support to help young people build confidence, independence, and connection.
As a valued member of our Kanda team, you will:
- Provide hands‑on care and guidance to young people in a safe and supportive home environment where they can grow, learn and thrive.
- Help create and follow individual care plans tailored to each person’s unique needs and goals.
- Support young people with daily living activities and help them understand self‑care, education and recreational activities.
- Build trusting relationships by offering encouragement, stability, safety and emotional support.
- Keep accurate and qualified records and documentation.

- Flexibility in your week by working a mix of day, evening and sleepover shifts (6:00am – 2:00pm, 2:00pm – 10:00pm, and 10:00pm – 6:00am ). Shift times may vary, providing variety and work‑life balance.

To join our team, you’ll need:
- A current driver’s licence (Minimum of a P2).
- A Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening Check (or be eligible to obtain these).
- Have completed, or are willing to enrol in, a Certificate IV or Diploma in a relevant field.
- Experience with young people or in related areas (disability, mental health, aged care, childcare) is preferred, but not required ; we welcome applicants who are eager to learn and grow.
