The Role
Reporting to the Project Manager / Construction Director, you will take full responsibility for the on-site delivery of high-rise residential projects from early works through to completion.
Key responsibilities include:
* End‐to‐end site leadership on Class 2 high‐rise residential builds
* Managing and coordinating multiple subcontractor work fronts
* Driving construction programmes and sequencing trades effectively
* Maintaining strict control over site safety, quality and compliance
* Leading, mentoring and developing Site Managers, Foremen and engineers
* Managing site logistics, access, cranage and vertical transport
* Conducting site meetings, inspections and progress reporting
* Proactively identifying and mitigating delivery risks
* Ensuring works meet contractual, design and statutory requirements
* Driving a strong site culture focused on safety, quality and accountability
About You
You will be a highly capable construction leader with experience managing complex residential sites. To be successful, you will have:
* Proven experience as a Senior Site Manager on high‐rise Class 2 residential projects
* Strong understanding of multi‐storey construction sequencing and methodologies
* Demonstrated experience managing large subcontractor workforces
* Excellent knowledge of WHS legislation, quality assurance and compliance
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to command busy construction sites
* Confidence working closely with Project Managers, Engineers and consultants
* Ability to drive programme, resolve issues and maintain momentum under pressure
* A proactive, solutions‐focused approach to site management
Relevant trade or construction qualifications are essential.
