About the Role:

Dowell Windows has an excellent opportunity for a vibrant and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Cambridge. In this role, you'll be the friendly first point of contact for visitors, customers, and the wider team, supporting a range of front-of-house and administrative services. Reporting to the Branch Manager, you'll be a reliable all-rounder who can confidently manage reception duties, support the team, and assist with coordinating bookings to meet both customer and business requirements.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

* Answering phone calls, directing queries and maintaining emails
* Greeting customers and providing a professional first impression
* Managing and maintaining booking schedules by liaising with customers and internal stakeholders
* Maintaining office equipment, reception supplies and presentation of the showroom area
* Providing general administrative support to the team
* Coordinating meetings, room bookings and catering
* Receiving and distributing mail and deliveries

What We're Looking For:

* Previous experience in a reception role is preferred
* Have strong communication and customer service skills
* A "can do" approach to all aspects of the role
* Be direct, truthful, and easy to deal with
* Be proactive in your approach and manage competing priorities
* Be a team player who is a problem solver
* Be a self-starter who can work autonomously
* Be determined to grow and learn
* Sound knowledge in Microsoft Excel, Word, Access, Outlook
