Work that matters
We seek a highly motivated, creative scientist to spearhead a project using stem cell and models to address a fundamental question in chromatin biology: How do epigenetic features contribute to the regulation of the genome?
We study how chromatin drives specificity for regulating gene expression.
You will be dissecting the molecular features of transcription factors and cofactors that enables such specificity on chromatin, where recent technical advances in genomics and proteomics means that we can now achieve a remarkable degree of insight into fundamental molecular events.

Reporting to Group Leader, Dr Luke Isbel, and working within the Molecular Epigenetics Laboratory at SAiGENCI, you will have ample professional, scientific and mentoring opportunities to develop into a highly visible future leader in their own right.

Experience

* A PhD in genomics or stem cell biology
* A working knowledge of tissue culture
* Experience in functional genomics techniques
* A solid track record of academic success
