We are seeking a seasoned Tax Manager to join our team. This is a high-profile role that requires exceptional leadership and technical skills.
* This position involves collaborating with our leadership team to manage the provision of taxation services for an allocated book of corporate clients, overseeing day-to-day operations, corporate income tax compliance, and the preparation and review of income tax returns and accounting calculations.
* You will be responsible for delivering a full spectrum of corporate taxation advisory and compliance services tailored to client needs, while supporting senior team members in complex tax engagements, including ATO risk reviews, audits, and ruling application processes.
* As a leader, you will mentor and guide the team, fostering their career development and contributing to a positive team culture that promotes high performance, collaboration, and celebrates successes.
* Possess detailed knowledge and experience with the Australian taxation system, acquired through work in a professional services firm or a comparable industry role, along with expertise in corporate income tax compliance calculations, processes, and ATO lodgement obligations.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills and confidence in leading direct engagements with clients on substantive tax matters and coordinating various engagements, ensuring clarity and effectiveness in all interactions.
* Hold a CA qualification or equivalent, or have completed other postgraduate studies (e.g., Tax Masters), with technical knowledge of IFRS and Tax Accounting considered an advantage, though not essential.
