**Administration & Payments Officer**
**Administration & Payments Officer **role is offering 35 hours per-week, Monday to Friday, on an initial 6-month, paying between
**$41.50 - $45.56 per hour + super**
**The Role and Team**:
The Workers Compensation Payments Team plays a pivotal role in the management of employee's entitlements whilst on workers compensation.
The team is responsible for providing a high quality, timely and client focussed service. Committed to excellence and the highest ethical standards in dealing with clients and stakeholders.
This role will work within the team to ensure the Department is reimbursed from our insurer in a timely manner and will have carriage of ensuring accuracy of invoices and reconciliations of payments received.
- Experience in providing high level of customer support for internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong ability to build and maintain relationships.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities with tight timeframes.
- High level of knowledge, skills & experience with Word, Excel, and Power point. (Skills Testing required)
- Organisational and administration skills
- Experience in building relationships both with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to exercise independent judgement.
- Previous Government experience highly advantageous.
