Family Support Specialist
This role involves working with families and carers to enhance mental health and wellbeing through a recovery-oriented approach.
We welcome applicants who can champion the voice of lived experience and advocate for human rights, while promoting family-centred principles and relational recovery-oriented approaches.
* Promoting relational recovery-oriented approaches that prioritise individual needs and preferences;
* Collaborating with stakeholders to co-produce services that centre service user needs;
* Working relationally and through the practice of mutuality to provide an alternative to traditional mental health responses;
* Providing trauma-informed theories and intersectional ways of working in the field.
This part-time role is available until 30 June ****. Applicants should hold tertiary qualifications in Mental Health, Peer Work, Alcohol and Other Drugs (AOD) or other relevant fields.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about improving outcomes in the lives of children, families and individuals, and building stronger communities through collaborative work.
