Position Overview
We are seeking a proactive and experienced 2IC Warehouse Manager to support the Warehouse Manager in overseeing daily warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills,experience in a fast-paced DC/ warehouse environment, a valid forklift license, and proficiency in inventory management systems, including Cin7, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
Key Responsibilities
* Staff Management & Task Allocation: Assist in supervising warehouse staff, delegating tasks effectively to ensure smooth operations and adherence to schedules.
* Forklift Operations: Operate forklifts safely and efficiently for loading and unloading trucks, as well as moving goods within the warehouse.
* Inventory Control: Maintain accurate inventory records using Cin7 and Excel, conduct regular stocktakes, and reconcile discrepancies.
* Container Handling: Oversee the unloading and loading of shipping containers, ensuring proper documentation and storage procedures are followed.
* Truck Loading/Unloading: Coordinate and supervise the loading and unloading of delivery trucks, ensuring timely dispatch and receipt of goods.
* Computer Proficiency: Utilize EDI,Microsoft Word, Excel, and email platforms for reporting, communication, and documentation purposes.
* Safety Compliance: Ensure all warehouse activities comply with occupational health and safety regulations and company policies.
