Job Title: Safety and Emergency Services Officer
Our organization is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Safety and Emergency Services Officer to join our team.
* Key responsibilities include reviewing and approving pre-employment medicals, providing medical treatment, maintaining medical records, and conducting drug and alcohol testing.
* Maintain the medical clinic facilities, remote first aid rooms, ambulance, and associated equipment.
* Liaise with company nominated medical providers to coordinate emergency response and medical assistance.
* Conduct health clinics on a regular basis.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Certificate IV Pre-Hospital Care (minimum).
* Certificate III Mine Emergency Response and Rescue (or similar) including underground competencies.
* Collect specimens for drugs of abuse testing.
* Understanding of the Work Health and Safety Act 2020 and accompanying regulations.
* Experience in a similar role on an operating mine or construction environment.
* WA Class C manual driver's license.
* Diploma in Healthcare or above.
