Job Description

Requiring a leader who has a deep understanding of luxury guest expectations and how to exceed them through personalized and imaginative service.


Main Accountabilities

1. Develop and execute the commercial strategy for the hotel with a particular focus on maximizing Room, F&B, and ancillary revenue through the transient leisure and MICE market segments.
2. Deliver clear communication and direction to all business stakeholders through a framework of Data, Insights, and Action.
3. Use data as the foundation to have a complete understanding of competitive trends, market trends, guest needs, and feedback.
4. Oversee revenue and business intelligence to ensure the right rate strategy is executed across all room products to maximize revenue.
5. Prepare appropriate commercial reports to understand past performance, upcoming risks, opportunities, and strategies.
6. Prepare the Commercial Plan as part of the overall hotel budget on an annual basis.
7. Establish strong rapport with key stakeholders internally and externally.
8. Attend monthly Owners meetings outlining top-line performance results and future activities to maximize revenue.
9. Inspire and drive your team with vision and purpose.
10. Lead initiatives that blend technological innovation with human connection.
11. Play a pivotal role in shaping the strategic direction of the resort.
12. Be a steward of Sofitel’s French Art de Vivre, reinterpreted for the next generation of luxury travelers.


Qualifications

1. Minimum 4-5 years of experience in senior sales/marketing management within the premium hotel or airline industry, with a proven track record of success in developing and driving sales & marketing strategies.
2. Leadership, ownership, and entrepreneurial qualities.
3. Strong communicator capable of relating to all stakeholders - team members, peers, senior management, and investors.
4. Outgoing and self-motivating personality.
